Water Department personnel will be replacing waterline on Hayes St from Gould St. to Whitman St. This project is being completed to replace pipe that has reached its useful service life and improve water circulation. Design was completed by the Pocatello Engineering Department. Work will include approximately 6,200 ft. of mainline replacement, 200 service line renewals, installation of 12 fire hydrants, reconstruction of twenty ADA ramps, and restoration of disturbed concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk. Pocatello Street department will be installing new asphalt pavement for the entire road width. The project is anticipated to progress through the summer with completion in late October 2022.
